Karoliina Kettu joins Nextcon’s QA team

Nextcon’s QA team was complemented with a new expert when Karoliina Kettu started working for Traficom at the beginning of November. The tasks are related to the maintenance and development of test automation solutions.

From radiographer to test automation

Karoliina has been working with test automation for a couple of years now, after training in test automation at Academic Work’s Aw Academy.

– I studied radiography at the University of Applied Sciences and soon realised that it wasn’t really my thing. I’ve worked in a Scrum team in the past on test automation development, but being a consultant is a completely new job for me.

“I’m looking forward to expanding my skills in many different ways.”

At Nextcon, Karoliina’s career takes a new direction with consulting and she says she is motivated by learning new things and challenging herself. At Nextcon, she is particularly looking forward to opportunities to develop her own skills.

– I was recruited to Nextcon through LinkedIn. There is a shortage of automation testers and I had received a lot of contacts. What set Nextcon apart was the focus on self-development and the personal budget allocated to it,” says Karoliina.
