Nextcon sets up a team of software developers

Nextcon’s growth, which started last year, continues. To meet the increased demand, we are expanding our service offerings into custom software development and will initially establish a software development team of around ten people.

“Our employees are tough it project management professionals and many of our experts also have a coding background, so it’s natural to expand into software development. With the new team, we can take even greater responsibility for our customers’ digitalisation projects,” says Petri Ohtamaa, Nextcon’s founder and Chairman of the Board.

The new team will be looking for experienced software developers, who will primarily work in either the Helsinki or Turku office. Nextcon has a modern management model.

“We have moved away from a conservative managerial-subordinate management model. We give our employees decision-making responsibility so that they really feel they can influence their own work. We have each team mentored by a senior expert who looks after its members and the development of its activities.”
